交換學生計畫
Student Exchange Program of LINK?PING UNIVERSITY, INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (LiTH), SWEDEN and YUAN ZE UNIVERSITY
一、目的：
為增進學生之國際觀，實際體驗國際學生生活，促進學術交流及拓展國際視野，藉以提昇學生自我競爭力，與瑞典林雪平大學（LINK?PING University ）進行交換學生方案，取得本校學士學位後，前往該校取得碩士學位。
二、招生名額：每年預計2名。
三、招生對象：
（一）本系大四應屆畢業生或具提前畢業資格之大三學生(四年制)。
（二）英語能力相當於托福(550/213分)以上程度。
四、 補助項目及費用：
（一）元智大學：
1.提供經濟艙一趟來回之機票補助費用。
2.每個月補助二百元美金（至多四個月）之生活費，依本校「 學生國際學術交流獎助學金辦法」規定辦理。
（二）林雪平大學：
1.免學雜費 。
2.需自付當天生活費用。
五、 取得該校碩士學位之詳細條件請參考附件，其中30個ECTS學分約等於修習20個學分。
六、 學習領域：主要以化材和奈米領域為主

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN
YUAN ZE UNIVERSITY
and
LINK?PING UNIVERSITY, INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (LiTH), SWEDEN
regarding
ADMISSION TO MASTER’S PROGRAMME IN
Materials Physics and Nanotechnology
Special agreement on admission of Yuan Ze University students to the master’s Programme in Materials Physics and Nanotechnology at LiTH.
This amendment to the agreement of student exchange between Yuan Ze University (YZU) and Link?ping University
1/ An undergraduate student at YZU who is studying the third year in a four-year (nominal study time four years) bachelor’s programme in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science with excellent results, may be selected by YZU to be enrolled in the master’s degree programme Materials Physics and Nanotechnology taught in English at LiTH. The student will pay his/her own living costs but no tuition fees.
2/ The master’s degree programme Materials Physics and Nanotechnology is designed to give one of the master’s degrees "Teknologie masterexamen i teknisk fysik" or "Naturvetenskaplig masterexamen i fysik" translated to "Master of Science (Two Years) with a major in Applied Physics" and Master of Science (Two Years) with a major in Physics", respectively.
3/ Entrance requirements for students under this special agreement
- Students accepted under this special agreement will be accepted as exchange students and will be admitted to courses from the master’s programme. When the student can present a full bachelor’s degree the student will be accepted as a master’s degree student. The certificate of the bachelor’s degree must be presented before semester three of the master programme starts.
- Students accepted by LiTH from YZU are not required to present a TOEFL score, but should have the equivalent knowledge of English (550/213)
4/ LiTH agrees to admit 2 undergraduate students from YZU per academic year, to be enrolled in the master’s Programme in Materials Physics and Nanotechnology. Increased number of students can be negotiated annually.
5/ The students are nominated by YZU, so it is YZU's responsibility to check that each nominated student meets the prerequisites.
6/ To receive the master’s degree from LiTH the requirements are the following:
A bachelor's degree as specified in the entrance requirements.
A total of 120 ECTS credits or the equivalent from courses from the curriculum for the programme or after special decision from the programme board and thesis work.
Passed the requirements for all compulsory courses.
On advancement level A (advanced) 90 ECTS credits including:
at least 30 ECTS credits or the equivalent in courses from the major subject
a 30 ECTS credits or the equivalent master's thesis in the major subject
At least 45 ECTS credits or the equivalent from courses in mathematics or applications of mathematics from the bachelor level (basic) or master level (advanced), see list of specific courses
A master's thesis presented and passed as per Link?ping Institute of Technology degree regulations.
Courses overlapping each other regarding contents are not allowed to be included in the degree. Courses used for the bachelor's degree can never be included in the master's degree.
7/ 15 April is the deadline for LiTH to receive the applications electronically as well as signed paper versions. For the year 2008 the deadline is 30 April. The application form to be used for the selected students is the same as for ‘non degree’ exchange students and is found at http://www.lith.liu.se/en/stud/application.html

15 April (For the year 2008 the deadline is 30 April).
8/ This agreement is effective as to date of execution by appropriate officer of each signatory institution.
9/ Termination of this agreement requires notification at least one year prior to termination.
10/ This agreement is written and signed in two copies, having equal force, and each party holds one copy.
