Secondly, newspapers always report breaking news, which is first-hand information for most people. In this condition, citizens tend to believe the latest news.

Positive effects:

1.Report dangerous food and products, benefits consumers;

Citizens’ rights like safety and property can be guaranteed.

If consumers believe what have been reported in the newspapers such as poisonous food and dangerous products, they will avoid purchasing these items and ensure their safety.

2.Help citizens know more current affairs-care more about the society and their nations;

Negative effects:
