　大家好！今天是中国共产党建党89周年。89年来，中国共产党团结和带领中国人民，为了实现宏伟目标，用自己的坚忍不拔书写了一卷波澜壮阔的历史，书写了革命与建设的辉煌。作为这个伟大政党的一个普通分子，我和大家的心情一样骄傲和激动。在深入开展创先争优活动暨建设学习型党组织活动之际，根据校党总支安排，今天由我来给大家上一堂党课，也借此机会，与大家共同学习，共同交流。不足之处，希望大家批评指正。我党课的标题是：《争做优秀共产党员》。

　在新的历史时期，争做优秀共产党员，是加强党的建设的必然要求，是推动改革开放和现代化建设事业的重要保证。胡锦涛总书记指出：广大共产党员要坚持理想信念，坚定不移地为建设中国特色社会主义而奋斗；坚持勤奋学习，扎扎实实地提高实践“三个代表”重要思想和科学发展观的本领；坚持党的根本宗旨，始终不渝地做到立党为公、执政为民；坚持勤奋工作，兢兢业业地创造一流的工作业绩；坚持遵守党的纪律，身体力行地维护党的团结统一；坚持“两个务必”，永葆共产党人的政治本色。锦涛同志概括的这“六个坚持”是新时期对优秀共产党员的基本要求，全体共产党员都要深入领会和认真学习。结合我校当前工作实际，我认为争做优秀共产党员，最关键的要体现在“有觉悟、有本领、有作用”上。?

　（一）共产党员要有觉悟?

　新党章第一章第二条规定：中国共产党党员是中国工人阶级的有觉悟的先锋战士。这一表述，特别强调了党员的觉悟问题，明确了做一名合格党员的关键条件。觉悟是党员理想信念、思想品德、道德情操的外在表现，是党员世界观、人生观、价值观的综合。有没有思想觉悟，是共产党员是否真正在思想上入了党的最重要衡量标准。当然，党员觉悟的内涵很丰富，就当前时代发展的要求来看，关键要做到以下三条：?

　第一，共产党员有觉悟，首先就要坚定理想信念。崇高的理想信念，永远是激励共产党人不断前进的力量源泉和精神支柱。我们一代又一代的共产党人前赴后继，努力奋斗，甚至牺牲生命也在所不惜，靠的就是崇高的理想信念。据统计，新中国成立前的中央委员、候补委员共有171人，牺牲和遇难的有42人，占24.5%；新中国成立前的政治局以上领导人共有55人，牺牲、遇难的有15人，占27.2％，也就是说，每四个政治局委员或中央委员中就有一个牺牲、遇难。据民政部门提供的数据，全国各地有案可查的烈士就有170多万人，这些烈士中大部分是共产党员。从这些数据可以看出，共产党员是最大公无私、最英勇无畏的，为了人民的利益，他们勇于奉献自己的一切，甚至是宝贵的生命。共产党人勇于奋斗、敢于牺牲，靠的就是崇高的理想信念作支撑。

　但是，不可否认，现在有一些党员，对理想和中国特色社会主义的信念不那么坚定，甚至完全动摇了。有的认为，在社会主义初级阶段，宣传伟大理想有点“超前”；有的认为，在目前社会主义市场经济的环境下，不是讲理想的时代，而是讲实惠、讲利益的时代了，讲理想“过时”了。更为严重的是，一些党员由于放弃了对崇高理想的追求，信念崩溃，在形形色色的诱惑面前经不起考验，最终走上了腐化堕落、自我毁灭的道路。有些党员干部走上犯罪道路的事例反复告诉我们：理想的动摇，是最危险的动摇；信念的滑坡，是最致命的滑坡。放弃了正确的理想信念，也就丧失了做共产党员的资格。?

　如何看待理想信念，我认为这首先是一个思想认识问题。只要我们运用马克思主义的立场、观点和方法来认识人类社会发展的客观规律，把理想信念建立在科学分析的理性基础上，就能深刻地看到，我们共产党人完全没有理由放弃理想、动摇信念。衡量一种社会制度的优越，最根本的是看在多大程度上推动了社会生产力的发展和人民生活水平的提高。

　?事实是最有说服力的。20世纪以来，世界上有100多个殖民地半殖民地国家获得了民族独立，各自选择了不同的社会制度发展自己，应该说都各有成就和坎坷。但总体上来说，社会主义中国取得的成就更大。有关数据统计表明，实行改革开放以来，中国进入了发展最快、进步最大、变化最深刻的历史时期。中国已经连续近30年保持了平均9％以上的经济增长速度，创造了世界经济发展史上的新奇迹。中国经济在世界经济总量中所占比重，已由1978年的1％左右提高到约4％，成为全球综合国力排名第三的国家。世界舆论认为，包括巴西、俄罗斯、印度及中国在内的“金砖四国”经济发展迅速，有希望在2050年取代七国集团成为世界最大经济体，并将超越现在世界上大多数最富有的国家。

　与此相对照的是，在当前实行资本主义制度的170多个国家和地区中，只有20多个属于发达行列，而被联合国列为最不发达的49个国家实行的都是资本主义制度。现在，连西方的一些人也不得不承认，中国所走的道路表明：“十多亿正从贫穷变成富裕的人民的民族凝聚力，将形成强大的经济和政治力量”；中国将崛起成为一个“全面发展的大国”；中国的成功，“正在改变亚洲和世界的面貌”。?

　同时，必须认识到，实现是一个漫长的发展过程。它不可能由一代人建成，必须经过一个长时期的发展阶段，必须进行艰苦卓绝的奋斗。作为新时期的一名共产党员，我们每一位同志既要胸怀远大的理想，更要脚踏实地、立足岗位、埋头苦干，扎扎实实地做好当前的每一项工作。?

　第二，共产党员有觉悟，应当不断提升自己的精神境界。一个党员要做到与群众不一样，能够“平时看得出、关键时刻站得出、危难关头豁得出”，关键在于要从点点滴滴做起，不断锤炼自己的思想品德，提升自己的精神境界。高尚的精神境界是党员立身做人的标准，是党员成就事业的基石，也是我们党员成为群众的“旗手”和“标杆”的条件。每一名党员都应当牢记自己的政治身份，自觉加强党性修养、提升精神境界。当前，尤其要做到以下几点：?

　一是要辨是非。共产党员不是生活在“无菌”真空中，实际上每天都在经受着各种观念的渗透和影响，每天都在承受着社会变革、利益调整带来的思想震撼和冲击。一些别有用心的人，往往利用人们一时的思想迷惑，造谣惑众，颠倒黑白，混淆是非，来搞乱人们的思想，以达到他们的目的。所以作为党员，一定要坚决相信党，相信组织，加强学习，提高明辨是非的能力。要真正做到有悖于组织和上级精神的坚决不做，不利于党的形象的话坚决不说，有损党的事业的事坚决不参与，始终坚持共产党人的党性原则，不在各种错误的、腐朽的思想和不良风气面前随波逐流，努力立稳人生的坐标。?

　二是要知荣辱。党的利益与党员的利益、党的荣辱与党员的荣辱，从来都是紧密相关的。“国家兴亡，匹夫有责”，党的兴衰，每一个党员都有责任。我们今天一再强调党是“光荣、伟大、正确的”，并大力宣传优秀共产党员的事迹，就是要让全体党员都明白，共产党员的称号是光荣、神圣的，共产党员应当无愧于这个光荣称号，时时处处提醒自己要维护党的形象，在有人污蔑、诋毁和损害我们党的形象的时候，党员应当感到痛心和愤慨，能够挺身而出、出面制止。我们比喻“党是母亲”，就是希望广大党员像对待自己的母亲一样对待我们的党，为党分忧、为党尽责。如果党员都能够认识到我们与党是“一损俱损、一荣俱荣”的道理，都能自觉为党做贡献，我们党就拥有了无穷的力量，就会无往而不胜。?

　三是要讲奉献。吃苦在前，享受在后，克己奉公，多做奉献，是人性中真、善、美的集中体现，也是对优秀共产党员的基本要求，是共产党员道德品质中最本质的特征。党员不同于群众，应当奉献不为索取。陈云同志在《怎样做一个共产党员》中说：“每个共产党员都要把革命的和党的利益放在第一位，以革命的和党的利益高于一切的原则来处理一切个人问题”。当前，我们国家进入了改革开放和市场经济的发展时期，利益关系更加复杂和多元化了。作为党员，面对血与火、生与死的考验少了，面对个人利益与党的利益、国家利益、集体利益、群众利益的考验多了。在这样的考验面前，我们有的党员做得很好，他们自觉以个人利益服从党和国家的利益，必要时宁可牺牲个人的利益，把“索取值”选择为最小，把“奉献值”选择为最大，淡泊名利，志在奉献。但也有一些党员，片面强调个人得失，以是否对个人有利作为处理个人和社会关系的唯一标准，不仅不肯吃亏，反而想占单位或他人的便宜，我们党从来承认党员有正当的个人利益，但如果个人利益与党和国家的利益发生冲突，党员应当无条件地服从党和国家的利益。

　第三，共产党员有觉悟，必须自觉接受党的教育和纪律约束。自觉参加党组织的活动，自觉接受党组织的教育，自觉服从党的纪律约束，这是党员有没有觉悟的实际体现。但在我们的现实生活中，在我们支部内部，我们有少数党员，连党的活动和会议都不愿参加，连党的规章制度和组织纪律都不愿遵守，怎么能说这样的党员有觉悟呢？

　事实充分证明，加强纪律性，革命无不胜。过去战争年代是这样，现在和平年代仍然必须坚持。江泽民同志说过，“治国必先治党，治党务必从严”。党的坚强纪律和组织优势，是我们党克敌制胜的法宝，任何时候都不允许抛弃。在新的历史条件下，广大共产党员必须严格执行党章规定，遵守党员领导干部廉洁从政若干准则，遵守党的纪律，自觉接受党组织的教育和监督，真正做到违反党纪的话不说，违反党纪的事不做。也只有不断接受组织的教育、提醒和帮助，才能使党员个人更好地提高觉悟，养成良好的行为习惯，避免或少犯不应有的错误。

　（二）共产党员要有本领?

　强调共产党员要有本领，从哪个方面讲都不为过。从完成党的执政使命看，我们迫切需要有一支政治上靠得住、工作上有本事、作风上过得硬的干部队伍，迫切需要有一支能在各方面发挥先锋模范作用的党员队伍，只有这样，我们党才能担负起领导时代发展的重任。从增强党的威信和影响看，我们迫切需要拥有一大批既忠于党、忠于人民，又具备各方面专长和本领的党员群体，使我们党成为优秀人才聚集的党、在群众中有凝聚力和号召力的党。如果党员的本领比群众还差，这样的党员不可能赢得群众的尊敬和拥护，党的整体形象也会为之打折扣。从党员自身的发展要求看，现在社会竞争日益激烈，党员如果能力很弱，不要说为党作出贡献，党员自身都可能面临被社会竞争所淘汰的命运。所以，于党于国于己，党员都应不断增强本领。?

　总体上看，我们学校党员队伍的能力素质是比较好的。在47名党员中我们有一批出色的党员人才，我们有省级优秀教师，有市级教育模范，市级学科带头人和骨干教师有一大批中高级教师队伍，学历都很高，为我校教育教学的发展起着很大的影响和推动作用，但是，也要看到，在新形势新任务面前，我们也有一些党员存在着能力素质不适应的问题。需要我们予以重视。

　（三）共产党员要有作用?
